The Purok 5-A Neighborhood Association Inc. (PANA) in Alabang asked for assistance in terms of book donations from BKP. Their goal is to uplift the community’s moral, spiritual and social situation, in addition to securing basic needs as electricity, paved roads, security and telephone lines. There are 64 children age 3-6 in the community’s daycare, kinder and pre-school classes. PANA parents and volunteers take turns reading aloud to the children. Student volunteers from the nearby St. Benedict College provide assistance in the read-aloud sessions as well.
