BKP holds book packing sessions typically on the second Saturday of each month. The volunteers:
 

• Check that books are appropriate and in good condition

• Sort the books by reading level

• Clean, stamp and/or label the books

• And finally pack them in balikbayan boxes labeled for the appropriate school and location

• May lift boxes of books from one section of the warehouse to another (only for the physically fit)
